These are some towels I made on request from one of the pastors at 3rd Baptist.  Her mother recently got remarried and she was wanting some towels as a unique gift.  I made 6 towels.  She got 4 and the other two are up on etsy.

The warp was a mill end 8/2 cotton in a brilliant turquoise.  I used several weft colors.  The most successful ones were sea-foam green, lime green, navy, and dark green. The two I have left are navy and dark green wefts.

These were a pleasure to make.  Very few broken warp ends, only one treadling error.  I did have some issues hemming them, but those were due to my sewing machine.  It's been having problems for a while and I decided to treat myself to a new one.  Problem solved!

Gorgeous towels. I'm sure your mother will treasure them. Interesting tensioning device too. I have a similar one that sleeps in my table loom. Adorable pests!

Beautiful towels! I love the color. And your kitty is adorable. Mine only seem interested in eating the yarn as I measure or thread the loom!
