This scarf has a thin purple border on each selvedge and has such a lovely sheen.  The taquete has been turned to make it a one shuttle weave.  The eight shaft patter has a fairly long repeat, but gives a lovely effect.

What a beautiful scarf. I love both the choice of colours, the nice touch with the pronounced edges and the lovely quality of weaving. As so often I wish I could feel the stuff on here :-)
