Just some waffle weave towels on a handpainted warp.  Each towel uses a different weft color.  (the three colors in the warp and natural.)

This is a project I want to do.  I have 8/2 unmercerized cotton also.  My research on waffle weave says that the take-in is greater than normal.  How many warp ends did you have, and what was your finall off-the-loom width?  Any other details you can give would be appreciated.  I'm a fairly new weaver (have been for a long time), but pretty good at figuring out fiber things.
