This plaited twill is from the Carol Strickler 8H book, pg 107, 384-3......I've used this weave structure before in painted warps and love it.

I used a forest green tencel for the weft on one scarf, a rust tencel for the weft on the other.

Your scarf is gorgeous.  I've been trying to work with 8/2 Tencel at 24epi but I find it feels kind of sleazy and the weft overwhelms the warp.  It is the same weft as warp, I am doing a peacock pattern from Handwoven from several years ago, but the sett there was 42 and included cotton.  I am reworking it using a sett of 30epi, and was going to try a zephyr in the weft.  Your scarves are all beautiful.

That is so pretty.  I love plaited twills and this one is really striking.  I gotta get that book out again and take a look at this one.
