Doubleweave Blanket

 I marked the sett as 6 epi, but in doubleweave this is sleyed 12 epi.  This made a light, drapey blanket, that washed up very soft.  It won first place in the plain weave category in the Mamie Francis Blanket competition at Maryland Sheep & Wool in 2009.  The warp yarn was from the estate sale of a weaver who had passed away.  I went to the sale when I was first starting to weave - I wish I had bought everything in the sale!  I got some really good toys and yarn there.
