I have an old Arthur Allen Jack loom.  I need more heddles and measuring from the top of the heddle to the bottom (is that the correct way to measure) the length of the helddle is 10 inches.  I can find no 10 inch heddles in a brief online search.  There is 9 1/2, 10 1/2, etc.  Anyone know where to find them?  Did I measure the heddle correctly?

I beleive that steel heddles are measured from mid eye to mid eye.  So your 10" heddles are probably 9.5".

Measure the distance from the outside of the upper and lower heddle frames to get the size of you heddles. Depending on if your heddles are flat steel or wire can change the size by 1/2 inch. The wire one sit right on the bar, the flat heddles have a 1/4 inch piece sitting above the bar.
