How to assemble brake mechanism on Leclerc Fanny loom?!

I recently bought an older Leclerc Fanny loom and am in the process of assembling it. Unfortunately, although their online instructions are quite clear, they don't really go into enough detail when it comes to how to assemble the brake mechanism... It says "Hook turnbuckle A to brake circle B," but doesn't mention how to connect the OTHER end of the brake circle. I can see where to attach it, but the place is held together by a bolt that has a flat head, so cannot be removed in order to insert/secure the other end of the brake circle. If anyone can clarify this for me or even has an assembled Fanny loom and can just upload for me a close-up photo of the brake circle so I can see for sure how it's attached, I would really appreciate it!!
