Winter Saori Wall Hanging

All the yarns used in this wall hanging came from Ottawa Valley Fibre Arts Canadian Fibre box from November 2009 (except for the sample of hand dyed green yarn which is from a different month’s box)

The fibres are from Wild Geese Fibre and were processed at Prairie Fibre Mill in Biggar Sask. They are all natural (un-dyed) and were such a pleasure to spin.

The weaving itself, like my autumn weaving reflects the view from my studio window. This time, after a winter snow storm with the snow clinging to the empty branches with just a few evergreen bows peeking through.
