I have a scarf woven in an undulating twill. Warp is silk chenille, weft is a silk wool blend. Both fibers recommended dry cleaning.  Hesitant to wet finish and press, but it is so stiff it is not pleasant to wear. Any suggestions.

I wouldn't press, but just a warm water wash/rinse, don't wring but squeeze, perhaps roll in a towel to remove excess water.  Would not use the dryer since there is wool in the mix, just lay flat to dry, maybe roll it up  and hand manipulate it at bit when it's dry if it is still stiff.

cheers,
