The shed is not bad considering I had to use shorter string heddles instead of texsolv.

Dawn, your loom looks great. I know you put a lot of work into the restoration of this loom and it shows. The nice thing about string heddles is they can be made anysize. Enjoy this enchanting loom and have fun weaving on it.

Good Morning Dawn! Gee that has nice sound to it, anyway, I have a quick question  which may be dumb to some but I'm just learning.  The restoration work you did is excellent, the loom looks new.  The question I have is that you seem to have two slings with leather loops on each end of your heddles are those to support the heddles in the neutral position?
