Hello everyone!
I want to weave an 8 shaft M&W twill scarf (A weaver's book of 8-shaft patterns, page 85, draft 315-4). I'll use 8/2 tencel both at warp and weft and a 10 dent reed. I can't find any standard interlacement per repeat so I can't use Alderman's formula. At least I'm not aware of any other way. I believe that 24epi that is indicated for twill at sett charts is too open. I intend to leave some more space for sampling at the original warp to save time and need to keep the width -/+2 cm ( or about an inch). Should I start with 27epi? Any advice would be apreciated. thanks
