A small update today added the ability to convert from a standard WIF file to a lift plan. If you work on a table loom but have a draft in a standard format, WIF 'n Proof will help!
Any standard WIF file that you import into WIF 'n Proof and edit in the Design Center, or enter directly into the Design Center as a standard WIF, can be converted to a Lift Plan draft simply by sliding the toggle on the WIF Setup Screen to 'Yes'. WIF 'n Proof will then analyze the tieup and treadling charts to provide you with a complete lift plan.
Start WIF 'n Proof on your device to download the newest version (v2.2, build 8). The help files have been updated to include this new feature and a new manual is available at http://sandozsoftware.com/WnP/Files/WIFnProof_User_Guide.pdf
You can try out this new feature at the online demo. Chose any of the standard sample WIF files, move it into the Design Center and slide the toggle to "Yes" to create a Lift Plan. Then check the chart by clicking on 'Edit' for the Lift Plan.
