I spun the yarn for these scarves on my Fricke spinning wheel from superfine alpaca roving last fall and winter. I wove them over the summer, using a Swedish Rosepath threading from Davidson, p15 and 16. I used 3 different treadlings to get the 3 different patterns.
For the lattice pattern (pic on the right), I used treadling 2. For the alternating diamonds pattern (center pic), I used treadling 5, leaving off the last treadle since it's the same a s the first one.
For the zigzag and diamonds pattern (pic on the left), I used treadling 8 from threading #4 on page 16, same threading as on page 15.
The scarves are 7.5" wide, and 2 of them are 58" long, including fringe. The third one is 64" long. There was also enough warp left to weave cloth for a small fringed bag, but I have not finished the bag yet.
