Sampler

I'm using "Tapestry Weaving" by Kirsten Glasbrook and weaving the first sampler to teach myself how to weave tapestry

I learned a lot doing this first tapestry. Namely that I prefer to work in a smooth well plyed yarn. This yarn didn't have quite enough twist in the ply and it was a little thicker than I wanted. I'm planning to weave a second piece (weft faced) and make a small bag.

I love this little loom and will consider buying a bigger size too.
