Backstrap WAL 2

Backstrap WAL 2  to learn a  double weave warp faced belt/band technique from South America.

Backstrap is made from tapestry frame pieces, dowels, a belt, rulers, and bricklayers nylon twine and shoelaces - cost to make, under US$10.00 as much of it was lying around the house already.

24/8/09:  I've been having a few problems with my selvedges. That has settled down after some advice - thanks Alison and Laverne! The pattern is going much quicker than I thought possible when I started as the WAL instructions are nice and clear. Switching background colours for the second motif was easy - its harder to remember not to go back to the first background, lol!
