Ribbon scarves

These are various scarves made over a period of several years.  I did not photograph all of them, and they have all sold now.  It's a great great technique that I'm quite fond of....endless color and pattern possibilities and the ability to have each scarf on the same warp look quite different is a plus. 

I did not use a second warp beam until I began making more than three on a warp on my AVL.  I wound both the ground warp and supplemental together without problem as long as I did not exceed 8 yards in length.  I have a system which I taught for a while for winding the warp, combining colors for interest and designing the supplemental ribbon pattern.
