My first woven project was a set of baby blankets for my brother's triplet daughters. I started the design the month after we learned they were expecting, and probably started the blocks that same month, as well. The current design is not the original, which I hope I will do as a wallhanging someday (black background - would look wonderful in silks) if I could figure out a way to mount it appropriately. This design has a white background, and uses a rainbow of Caron So-Soft Brites (washable!). Unfortunately, I ended up completely overwhelmed by the project, primarily at the thought of trying to put them together. I still have issues with putting blocks together - I definitely have a right side and a wrong side - but they look better now than they did three years ago!
The girls are now a little over two, and my goal is to get this project out of storage and finish it before they are three!
