Notes

6/5 I think I'm going to have to cut my header and rethread due to lack of planning, but I'm playing around with what I have now. I used two shafts to give the edges a plain weave selvedge and I'm reconsidering using them for additional patterning and letting the edges go native.

6/8 Yay - rethreading is not necessary, tie up is done and towels are underway.

6/10 These were going to be stowed away as Christmas gifts, but I'm finding I need housewarming presents and suchlike much sooner. I've never done the cut some fabric off and tie the rest back to the loom trick before, that is way cool!

Sigh. after wet finishing the first set of towels, I found I didn't account for 10% shrinkage so they are on the small side, having shrunk around 4" lengthwise. I wove in a plain-weave border between towels and calcualted 24" total between. Pfeh.  There is extra warp I put in to play around with, so I should still get 5 sets of towels (three per set).
