Where did you get the rayon? How did you finish this fabric?

This variegated Rayon came from the Yarn Barn in Kansas.  I finished the scarf by hand washing in cold water, and laying flat to dry.  I was astonished at how ultra-soft it turned out to be.

What a visual delight.

Please excuse my ignorance, but is this a "twill"? I am a new weaver and not yet confident with trying to "work out" weave structures.

This is a simple twill.  The unique characteristics are created by the Variegated Rayon fiber.  (since I upgraded to Windows 8 I have had trouble posting in Weavolution, so sorry if you received multiple answers from me)
