Really like these towels.  How did the rayon act when you wash them?

Just lovely. Perfect October colors as well.

there was enough linen that the crispness of the linen was more evident than the drape of rayon.

Notes

This warp is one of a continuing project to design a towel for each month of the year.  I have given myself certain limitations and requirements on this project.

This is October towel, it is woven with a linen, cotton, rayon mill end yarn that I found.  The linen gives a bit of "crispness" to the towels and the cotton slub gives a home-spun look.  I meaured out the warp for the stripes and painted the it with procion dyes.  This is where the towels stalled for several years.  Then last december I measured the undyed yarn and put the warp on.

I am very pleased with the towels, they fit the month well and they feel like they will be good towels to use.
