Twill purple wool shawl

Pattern of standard twills - 1/3 - 2/2 - 3/1 with bands of tabby as pattern breaks.  Two weft colors are also used on warp, with two additional colors - one lighter wt yarn for additional contrast.  I think the color effects are easier to see up close but I was really pleased with how this one turned out.  Note that the use of so much 1/3 & 3/1 twill did increase the amount of shrinkage in length of the final piece.
