Ice Cream Shawl (Pistachio and Blueberry)

 Who knows what the real color names were. These were odd bits of yarn, gleaned from the scrap bin at Webs, leftover from other projects. I didn't have any orange to weave a Creamsicle, so this was the next closest thing.

This was the first project I wove at the Aerie, after a long hiatus from weaving. Heidi's tallit was woven some time in the mid-1990s. This was woven in summer of 2006.

What took me so long?

One clever thing was to use a heavier cotton flake thread between each color. It gives the stole a bit more drape.
