When using linen, use natural for the stripes in warp and weft against a bleeched white background. I didn't in the one I uploaded to my projects. I would also increase the sett for the warp stripes (3 ends) and beat harder by shifting shafts for 3 picks in those areas or lay 2-3 wefts side by side if you can't beat them in tight as the warp stripe sett. Whatever makes the stripes showy and close to the same width in warp as weft. Maybe even a thicker yarn for the stripes, might have to weight the warp stripe in this case.

I recommend placing the huck warps on a supplemental beam or weighting them with dowel rod and anchoring with cord, they do get a bit slack after 1/2 a yard due to take-up versus that of plain weave. So be aware of that.
