Charkha Bag

 For Xmas '03 my wonderful husband gave me a Bosworth book spinning charkha!  Because I knew it was coming and because it deserved something very special by way of carrying case, I designed a piece of cloth for my first semester weaving class final project.  I used colors that said "Maxfield Parrish in India to me"; pink, peach, rose, cobalt and navy with an accent of metallic copper and beads to match.  The number of threads in each warp stripe is in a Fibonacci sequence.  Got an "A" on the fabric and sewed the charkha case with pouch pocket on the back.
