Canvas Weave Shawl

This yarns seems much softer than typical 8/2 cotton. Or at least it's a lot softer than the other 8/2 cotton in my stash. I'm not sure where it came from. I bought it for cheap from the man that sold me my loom.
I was scared to do canvas weave again. The last time I did it, I used a 20/2 linen, (first time working with it) and I didn't understand block theory at all. I got my blocks completely backwards and the linen was just horrible to work with. (Being used to cotton) I'm not really a fan of linen fabric in the first place so that also might have had something to do with it.

**My camera bleached out the color on the close up photo. It's actually the color of the photo of it still on the loom.
