Big skirt

This skirt was all made of narrow strips that I was doing to test my new (at that time) loom for the 1st time. I used 'Woodstock' from the 'Park Bench Pattern Company'- she does a lot of patterns that adapt really well for handwovens. This skirt was included in the runway show at HGA Convergence 2004 in Denver. -It was a thrill for me because it really swirled & moved on the model, she made it look so pretty! (See middle photo) It now belongs to a dear friend of mine who's dh built me some beautiful patio furniture in trade for it, just gotta love the barter system!
