It turned out Great! I amguessing you wove the center and knitted the neck and edges on the sleeves? How did you color the yarn? Is it your Alpaca and Llama fibar?  Or did the fibar come that way?

Any way that is one of the things on my must do list some day.

Thanks for sharing.

I purchased the alpaca in cone form already dyed, I think it was from alpaca yarn company. The grey llama (collar, sleeves)is the natural color blended from allour black and white llama. I didi thea weaving first, sewed the center portion of the top and then knit on the bottom bands, sleeves and cut the neckline as you would when steeking knitting, and knit the collar. thanks for your nice comments! elaine

I saw your awesome top and I was intrested if you just wove a section of cloth and then did the steek as if a poncho? I am in need of a large project for school and was curious how you constructed the main body. I pretty much get the other knitting ideas.

This was first attempt to mix weaving and knitting in the same project. I'll try it again!
