Thank you for posting some of your projects.

Peggy Osterkamp, oh how lucky.  I am thrilled to own all three of her books and to think you took classes with her.  I have a feeling you have some great weaving habits.

Notes

This is the one that started it all (unless you count pot holders at the age of 6). Years previous I was given a Beka rigid heddle loom that sat unused in my closet and spoke to me every time it had a chance to get a word in edgewise.  I was taking a dyeing class the summer of 2003 at West Valley Alpaca in Esparto, CA from Pat Meade and, in her shop, saw a kit with her lovely yarns.  One was a simple scarf and I decided it was time.  I bought the kit in colors I knew my husband would like, tracked down and bought warping pegs, taught myself to warp from Cay Garrett's Warping All By Yourself and sat down to weave.  Fairly painless but realized I needed instruction to progress.  Signed up at SF City College and was unbelievably lucky to have Peggy Osterkamp as an instructor for the last 8 semesters she taught publicly.  The rest is history.  (And my husband looks quite dashing in his scarf and black leather jacket.)
