Each repeat is 100 threads, however, it's less important to do an exact multiple of 100 threads with a pattern like this. The warp and weft are both 2/20 silk. The warp is a dark chocolate brown and the weft is a light yellow. I had to reduce the size of the pictures quite a bit to make them smaller than the max file size, so some of the sharpness of the detail was lost. I have another color, a light tan that I will try a little bit on in the weaving.
Note that although I'm using 12 shafts for the threading, I'm only using 10 treddles. I tried the patter with a "tromp as writ" treddling, and the floats were too long and there were some areas where the pattern fell apart, thus this treddling.
Thanks again to Davewiz for the inspriation with his beautiful snake skin weaves!
