I've gone that fine in polyester (just a see what happens thing), but wow one would have to have good eyes and nimble fingers for sure. :)

First time I have tried 60/2 scarf, but had to make the heart scarf for Daughter-in-law Christmas present and I was so surprise how easy it was to work with silk this fine.
