Simply gorgeous! Is it a silly question to ask how many cards you used to achieve your design? I'm not knowleable about the subject, yet!

Thank you. I used 56 tablets for the pattern and 6 tablets on each side of the pattern for selvages.

I was at the Minneapolis Textile Center library this morning where I met Keith, who teaches tablet weaving there. Of course, I was in the tablet weaving section, and he was looking for more band weaving books. We had a great chat, and lamented that their library doesn't have a copy of your new book yet. I hope he pops onto Weavolution and takes a peek at this project — stunning, as ALWAYS!

I have not sent my book to any Library yet. It has only been published for a couple of month so maybe a lot of people are not aware of it yet.

I have long admired your weaving online and will be purchasing your book. As a novice tablet weaver I am curious as to the fibre that you used...silk? Thanks for the sharing...and the inspiration.

Thank you. I just looked at your bands they are very very nice. You don't look like you are a novice tablet weaver. The materials I used was 30/2 linen (white),18/2 merino wool (blue), and 10/2 mercerized cotton (red).
