and very pretty.  I did a little reading on fiber optic threads, are these threads brittle? Do they break easily when you weave with them?  How do you light them?  What did you use for warp?  This is very intriguing.

The optic is not brittle, but quite stiff.  There are stripes of different diameter optic in the weft above and, thus, light a bit differently.  The warp is Tencel 8/2 varigated at 20 epi.  

I have found very little written about use of fibre optic in print.   Have you?   I'd like to hear from weavers who have experimented with it   ;>)  Have you found good source of fiber for weaving?
