Your piece and description of technique was really intriguing, so I linked to your profile and then your blog, because I found your work posted here at Weavo incredibly interesting.

I hope you consider entering some of your work at Convergence this summer. I'd like to see some of these items in person at a future date! Thank you for taking the time to post and I'll certainly look forward to future projects.

I've read your blog in the past. I really enjoy seeing your work. I have a Dorothy loom fitted with 2 warp beams and 8 harnesses, they are very handy little looms!

Notes

The warp is a wool / nylon blend and the weft is copper wire - gold and red.  Threading is part taby and part 1,2,3,4 twill.   I always use my Dorothy loom for this kind of work because I've fitted it with 3 warp beams : ' ) and sometimes use weights in addition.   What I wanted to do would have required 12 harnesses, but I only have 8 for this loom.   I'm considering getting another 4 harness section, but with the 3 warp beams I'm not sure it would all fit unless I also extended the frame - again.
