Wow, there is a state tartan for NEW MEXICO?!?!   Who knew!

Is there a tartan for all the states, and if so, are they described anywhere?

I think 38 states have a state tartan - there maybe more. You can google the subject and find out more. I know here in Texas the state tartan is  bluebonnet themed . . .

I believe that all states have a State Tartan, which you can find at The Scottish Register of Tartans web site, which also has the thread count for each tartan.

Nice work. I have looked several times before at Scottish Register of Tartan and missed seeing the states listed with the clan, personal, district and fashion patterns recorded.
