Party Shawl

I've been wanting to try a spaced warp and weft shawl for years. I have a couple fancy holiday parties to attend and thought it was the perfect time to weave one... And my loom was empty! I'm anxious to see how the yarns spread once it's off the loom, and the spacers are removed and it's filled...  I washed the shawl by hand with shampoo and cream rinse and then tossed it in the dryer for 20 minutes to full and soften it.  I had to separate the yarns in the fringe as they became almost dredlock-like in the dryer.  It's 82' with the fringe.  The finished shawl is soft and luxurious... perfect for party-ing!
