Learned hemstitching and twisted fringe. Improved selvedges and noticed that bulkier yarns are more forgiving. Most important lesson learned was that my first warp, Bernat Mosaic variegated "psychedelic" was not going to work. I could not get a shed at all in the 10 dent heddle, and also the yarn seemed prone to breakage. The few rows I wove were not really as pretty as I had envisioned anyway, so I removed the entire warp and started over with a finer yarn. This was an extremely valuable lesson, which proved what I already knew; some yarns are just not going to work for warp on my RH. I was also delighted to learn that the new warp, being close in color to the weft, produced a lovely monochromatic scarf with white highlights running through it. I was very grateful that I was patient enough to start over and "do it right". :)
