The Strickler 8 harness book is one of my all time favorites. Looks like your scarves have a nice drape. Good work.

Your work is just beautifull Dorothy. And the colour combination is stunning. Admire your weaving.

Hi there - thanks to everyone for their kind comments. I am glad you liked the scarves.

This was the easiest draft and very effective with good selvedges !

I will use it again soon !

Would you mind telling me what yarn you used?  I just finished weaving my first "fine" scarf.  I used Jaggerspun 50/50 merino silk and set it at 30 ends per inch and I wish it was a little more "drapey".  What yarn did you use for a 24 ends per inch?

Notes

I found the draft for this project in Carol Stricklers book of 8 shaft patterns.

There was enough warp for four scarves and they wove up very easily. The pattern was great and the selvedges looked good !

This would make good place mats or table runners.

I did one scarf with iris weft, 2 scarves with aqua weft and one with lemongrass weft.
