That is absolutely beautiful! I have just finished my first project with cashmere from colourmart, and it is not nearlyb as lovely! Where do you have the draft from? It is a great effect with same-colour yarn for warp and weft.

That's gorgeous!  I've seen all the wonderful things Tien weaves with cashmere from Colourmart too and it makes me really want to give it a try.  But I'm bound and determined to use up a bunch of my stash first, so it will sit on my "list of things to try".  Thanks for the inspiration though.  Is that pattern from Twill Thrills?  It looks similar to what I've seen there.  It's amazing how complex of a pattern you can get with 4 shafts.

Hi Tina,

That's what I thought, and I have come across that title for so many lovely projects on this site, that I have just had to order the book. Now just waiting for a few days ( I ordered it from UK) and I can find inspiration in it for my second cone of colourmart cashmere. I was very pleased with the yarn, but very nervous about washing out the spinning oil, as they describe it in VERY hot water with detergent. But it worked just fine. I'll post it soon. - In the meantime I have lots of stash to weave before I'll buy any more.

How inspiring!  The color is amazing and it looks so elegant draped on your shoulders.

 I've been wanting to try cashmere but haven't known what size to purchase.  50 EPI is a bit daunting... is there a thicker weight  that would weave well and have fewer ends per inch?   I've been communicating with Han at Shakun Yarn   ([email protected])  about the cashmere yarns they carry and am very tempted to take the plunge.   If you are interested in their pricelist, I have a PDF I could PM you.  The colors are all so spectacular... I don't know where to start!

 This is the finest weaving I have done. the yarn was good to work with and wove up very easily.

Floating selvedge on the left broke 3 times but no other problems
