Great idea for a bedside rug!  What is your source for the fleece selvedges?

I bought them at Leesburg Looms in Ohio.  But I heard they can't get them any more and only had a bit left in stock when I went there a month or two ago.  You can ask.  They're also a great source for rug warp, loopers, and selvedges.  Or maybe it was loopers they couldn't get any more.  I'm not sure.  You should give them a call at 1-800-329-9254.  They're redoing their web site so people can order directly from it instead of calling it in, but I'd recommend bookmarking the url if you want to weave many rugs.  They occasionally get other things too.  I once got some rayon chenille at a very low price.

These rugs are very soft.  Animals love them too, but their fur really gets hooked into the fleece and is hard to vacuum off.

Thanks, Tina.   I'll give them a call.

Notes

For the hems, I used 8/4 carpet warp in yellow and blue wound together on the bobbin.  Hems were 3" long then triple folded for sewing.  Thinner pieces of polar fleece selvedges were used in the plain weave sections and thicker pieces in the twill sections.
