Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding loom waste, I own a Macomber add a harness loom, type B Large Mac 48" width.

What does everyone use when determining loom waste with this particular loom?

If your cords or apron is correct the bar should go all the way to the heddles. That said when your back bar gets that close to the heddles you can not get a clean shed. As a rule you can figure a loss of 8 inches on the cloth bar for tieing on and around a foot to a foot and a half on the back bar. So figure 30 inches or to be sale a yard waste.
