February seems to be Twill Month at my house - they are everywhere! First is an advancing twill scarf on 8 shafts. The warp is rayon, the weft is a variegated cotton of a smaller grist. I am hoping to get some cool ripples once it is woven and wet-finished.
Then there are twill block towels in cotton.
Finally, there are organic cotton towels in a variation of point twill on 6 shafts. The pattern is quite subtle, I think that i am going to try weaving weft color changes same as its threaded and see if the pattern pops a little more.
Oh, and the tree grew a branch this past week too:-)
It is snowing out, again, so I am holding my own private round robin today on my looms, good way to spend an afternoon.
