I thought you may get a kick out of my version of a homemade warping frame. I have found that weaving is an expensive hobby, so I decided to make this myself. I started with an old wod frame I found in the garage. It is solid wood and sturdy. I then drilled holes, and glued dowels in the holes. So why is it green? I decided it needed to be very smooth so the yarns do not get caught or snagged. I had some high gloss paint, it was green, so I used it. What I really love about this frame is that I can hang it on a over the door hook when I need it, no hooks or holes in the wall. The triple hook holds it perfectly balanced. It may look the hooks will get in the way, but they do not.
PS. this is a orange and blue Florida gator scarf that has been wound.
