I am planning on weaving bread cloths to sell at a craft show we are doing in June.  I have notes from the previous ones I have made but I have been very inconsistent in the size I made.  Should they be 20 x 24" or 18" x 24" or 24" x 24"?

I appreciate any and all suggestions.  I am using 8/2 unmercerized cotton.

Thanks,

Claudia

One of the first projects I ever completed as a brand new weaver was a lovely Finnish Twill bread basket "towel" kit that is sold by Yarn Barn of Kansas... the finished dimensions are 16x24:  http://www.yarnbarn-ks.com/Finnish-Twill-Bread-Basket-Towels/productinfo/WK-YB-113/

Personally, I have made napkins (19x19) that I "re-brand" as bread cloths to give as hostess gifts (along with a nice bottle of wine!).

I'm thinking the more generous size of 24x24 would be nice... just my humble opinion!
