Hi! I wondered if anyone would be able to offer advice. I'm choosing software for my new AVL (first time using compu dobby!) and am undecided on whether to buy Weavepoint and buy an inexpensive dedicated PC laptop for my loom or get Weavemaker on my existing Macbook. Does anyone have any insight in using a dedicated computer for their loom or preference for either software? Thank you!

Most people dedicate a laptop to the loom for a lot of reasons.  You can get a refurbished PC to do this a lot cheaper than a Mac.  I understand that the functioallity of the softwares is equal.  For working with drafts, a machine with right and left mouse buttons is far superior to a touchpad.
