Vavstuga Jamtlandsdrall in 4 Colors

I heard I was a gradma again on the morning I began weaving this project on March 1, 2011.  Needless to say, the first of three table squares woven has been given to our grandbaby, Elizabeth Conover, as a gift.

Although the warp material used (Bockens 24/2 Cotton) may seem fine, it was quite tolerant of being under tension. The use of a temple was a must along with frequent advancement of warp.  This is a two shuttle weave (or more depending on how many colors you incorporate)  I would love to weave more of these in the near future.
