For those who warp front to back, have you ever used a raddle on the front beam? I know it's supposed to be used on the back beam but I'm curious if it would help spread the warp for more even tension.

The raddle can be used in either position. In fact Leclerc makes a raddle that can be inserted into the beater. Cheers Laura
