I am so excited...I ordered my Mirrix Zach today...and it has shipped! I can hardly wait for it to arrive....not sure how long it will take, but I am following that tracking closely! LOL

Yesterday I sorted out my studio-I'm having to move my knitting into another empty room, along with my painting gear, so the loom and the spinning will be in the main studio area. (Thank heavens for grown kids who leave spare rooms that can become studios!!)   I also sorted out my handspun yarns and some cone yarns I have as well.   I know I'm going to have to add to the stash, but that will come as I hone my skills. For now, I'll use the handspun yarn.  Most of the fiber I have for spinning is suitable for knitting only-a bit too fuzzy for weaving-so I'll order some longwool breeds that I can spin specifically for weaving.

Today I loaded some photographs into files that I will use for weaving-I have several projects in mind and have been writing down my ideas with thumbnail sketches in my sketchbook.  It's really satifsying to be able to create this way....now, I just need the final step in the procress to arrive and I can get weaving!

More to follow....
