Has anyone experience with a tomar counterbalanced loom?  I can't find any reviews on a google search, or on a search of the site here.  Any input appreciated.

i just inherited a tomar loom and i am also very new to weaving. it seems to be in good condition but i've yet to start weaving on it. i've been trying to find information on it too so that i can maintain it, etc. i know this is a year and half after you posted this, but i'd love to know if you've found any information since your post!
