Does the Swedish Mattson Bobbin Winders work with LeClerc bobbins or will something like this work better? http://www.fiberartistsupply.com/hard-maple-weavers-bobbin-winder/

Pretty much any winder will work with any bobbins.   If the rod on the winder is a bit too small, just wrap some tape around it to make it fit.

I prefer the Swedish winders, but you have to remember that you can only turn the handle in one direction.   Turning it the other way does damage to the winder, or so I was told.  It's obvious which way is right since the operation is smooth.

Just remember, the Mattson winders come with 2 sizes of shafts, the Swedes tend to use quills which are much skinnier hence a skinny shaft,  they also make a thicker shaft.  Be sure to check that!  I have both and love my winders
