I have over 3lbs. of 8/5 linen rug warp (natural) that I purchased from Yarn Barn.  The only problem with this warp is that it smells like barn!  Honestly!  If you don't mind that smell, wonderful.  If you do, beware! I don't know if it's the linen making that smell (although I've never smelled this before) or if it's where it was stored before I bought it.

I have six full 8oz cones of 8/5 natural line linen rug warp plus an additional 4 oz.

I don't know if the smell would wash out.  I made a rug using it as warp, but the rest of the rug is wool, so it can't be washed.  I can't say I smell the "barn" smell in the finished rug.
